Florida Intermediate Training
WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TRAINING Intermediate training is required for all persons with duties that include any of the following activities:
This training involves 16 hours of classroom instruction of the FRTDS and MUTCD. Demonstration areas will include Part VI of the MUTCD, Index 600 of the FRTDS and hands-on practices in field demonstrations. Flagging operations will be covered in enough detail that a person who successfully completes this course is capable of providing basic training. A written test is required and students will receive a certificate of completion and a wallet size card. Successful completion of the Florida "Intermediate" category training does not mean that you are an ATSSA "Certified" Flagger Instructor Trainer!
