Skating Lessons

Beginner Skating Lessons We offer beginner skating lessons every Saturday morning from 9:45am-10:45am. The cost is $8.00 and lesson students get to stay for the 11:00am-1:30pm session for free. Lessons start promptly at 9:45am, so please, please be at the rink no later than 9:30. In JUNE, JULY, AUGUST Lessons are on Saturdays from 11:15-12:15pm. Lessons start promptly at 11:15am, so please, please be at the rink no later than 11:00. Skating Lesson Options There are 2 groups in the lesson. the carpet group the beginner skating floor group The 2 groups learn the same thing. One takes their lesson on the carpet and the other on the skating floor. Some kids feel more comfortable on the carpet and we encourage them to stay there until they are ready for the "big" floor. Advanced Lessons When the kids have mastered the basic skills taught in the Beginner Lesson Program and would like to continue in a Skating Activity, we have 3 different clubs they could join... HOCKEY * SPEED SKATING * ARTISTIC SKATING ...or they can just continue skating during our regular Skate World sessions.
