Becoming a Pro Wrestler
Professional wrestling is today's hottest sports entertainment show going. It is very popular with mainstream America and has come a long way from its roots. Today's wrestling as seen on the Monday Night Raw and Thursday Night Smack down shows offer soap operaesque story lines mixed in with the actual wrestling matches. With its high intensity, high energy athletes, it has become the most exciting event for live audiences as well as the television viewers. It is not unusual for professional wrestling house shows to draw crowds of over 30,000 fans. Wrestling's biggest event, Wrestlemania, has drawn crowds of over 60,000 and even drew an astonishing 93,000+ for WrestleMania III. Participating in today's professional wrestling offers many gratifying rewards for those who are tough enough. There is the thrill of competition, emphasized by the athleticism and creativity which entertain even the most antagonistic fans. There is the thrill of performing in front of large crowds. There aren't too many situations in life which bring a bigger thrill or chill to the soul than being able to bring 15,000+ screaming people to their feet with excitement. There is the thrill of being envied by family, friends and fans as a celebrity who can perform and captivate large audiences. It also offers the chance of a lucrative career, as well as world travel for those who are able to advance to that level. It often presents the opportunities to meet other celebrities such as professional athletes from all other sports, entertainers, movie stars, and possibly your own childhood hero who may actually be asking for YOUR autograph. The best part is that professional wrestling is physically demanding, therefore keeping you in top condition. But most important, wrestling is fun. When trained properly and adhering to the proper conditioning, you will absolutely love the thrill of performing and having fun at the same time. There is not much that can match the sensation of being a professional wrestler. Now that you have heard the good stuff, lets take a look at what it takes to make it.
