University/College Projects - Public Safety The Public Safety Facility project provided for the construction of Florida State University's new police/security facility. Unique structural design elements have created a hurricane resistant, disaster command center for the University, with state-of-the-art communications and computer systems. This facility also serves as the headquarters for the FSU Police Department, with two conference areas, a large training/classroom, holding cells and a fitness/exercise area.
