University/College Projects - Woodward Avenue The Woodward Avenue project closed a portion of of that road and modified the area into approximately 60,000 sf of hardscape and landscaping. The scope of work included brick pavers, stamped concrete, brick planters, sidewalks, curbs/asphalt, traffic signals, statue base, landscape, site utilities, site drainage, outdoor furniture, site lighting, emergency phone/pull-stations, and associated infrastructure. Allstate was able to anticipate and identify the probability of unforeseen conditions such as undocumented underground utilities. We required itemized trade contractor response to RFPs, and worked closely with the Engineer to provide the lowest cost solution in the resolution of utility conflicts. The Owner, Engineer, and CM relationship allowed the team to address and resolve issues within the contingency budget, and without impacting the overall project budget and schedule.
